Famed French director Michel Gondry, whose works include "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "The Science of Sleep," says that he is a fan of works helmed by Korean director Bong Joon-ho.

"I am actually a big fan of director Bong Joon-ho and 'Memories of a Murder' is one of my favorite movie... I also had a great time working with him on a movie titled 'TOKYO!'" Michel Gondry said, adding that he enjoyed watching Bong's "The Host" as well.
"I'm sure that I have seen a lot of them [referring to Korean movies] but unfortunately I don't pay much attention to who the director is but only the movie."
He added that it is "awesome" to be in Korea and is very excited to promote a picture that he can take pride in.
Director Michel Gondry, American actor Seth Rogen and Chinese actor Jay Chou flew into Korea yesterday to promote "The Green Hornet" which will open in local theaters on January 27.
