Big Bang member Seung-ri and Girls' Generation members Seo-hyun and Yuri have been accepted to Dongguk University, according to the school on Thursday.

The college made the announcement through a press release, saying that all three singers accepted on early admission as freshmen for the spring semester of 2010.

Seung-ri and Yuri also made it into Joongang University's department of movie and theater last week.

Yuri, member of the hit nine-person girl group, had given up preparing for Korea's regular college entrance exam two years ago to pursue her singing career. Seo-hyun, 18, is the youngest of the band. Girls' Generation has been one of South Korea's most popular pop groups since their debut in 2007 and had back-to-back hits this year with singles "Gee" and "Tell Me Your Wish".

Seung-ri had quit high school but passed the qualification examination for college entrance in May this year and had been preparing for entry ever since. His band has also been one of Korea's hottest groups since debuting in 2006.
