2011 Jisan Valley Rock Festival announces 3rd lineup

The third lineup for this summer's Jisan Valley Rock Festival has been announced, according to the official website of the music fest on Wednesday.

Jisan's webpage revealed that Japanese artists Quruli, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, 9mm Parabellum Bullet and German group Atari Teenage Riot will rock out on the stage of the annual event to be held at the Jisan Forest Resort located in the city of Icheon of the Gyeonggi Province for three days starting from July 29.

Local artists that will grace the stage include Jang Ki Ha & Faces, PIA, Kingston Rudieska, Daybreak, Ukulele Picnic+Special Guest and Ska Wars.

Quruli, composed of members Masashi Satoh and Shigeru Kishida, formed in 1996 and was popular among underground music lovers. They released their first album "Sayonara Stranger" three years later after signing with Japan's record label Victor Entertainment.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is a Japanese rock band which first formed in Yokohama, Japan in 1996. They have several hit songs including "Fujisawa Loser," "Kimitoyuu Hana," "After Dark" and "Siren" which is influenced by Western punk and alternative rock.

9mm Parabellum Bullet, composed of member Takuro Sugawara, Yoshimitsu Taki, Kazuhiko Nakamura and Chihiro Kamijo, is a Japanese rock band formed in 2004. They made their official debut in October 2007 and is well-known for their songs "The World," "Talking Machine," "Heat-island" and "(Teenage) Disaster."

Atari Teenage Riot (ATR), composed of member Alec Empire, Hanin Elias and MC Carl Crack, is a German digital hardcore group formed in Berlin in 1992. The formed the techno sound of digital hardcore with the combination of anrachist, anti-fascist and anti-Nazi views with punk vocals.
