Girl group Secret’s new song “Shy Boy” was honored the top prize on weekly cable music show “M! CountDown” yesterday.
“Thank you so much for granting us first place so soon after we made a comeback,” said Secret's members in tears as they thanked their agency and fans.
“Shy Boy,” a cheerful dance number based on swing music composed by hit-composers Kang Ji-won and Kim Ki-bum, is the title track to the girls’ first single album released on January 6.
Meanwhile, boy band MBLAQ staged their first comeback performance the same day, singing to “Intro,” “Cry” and “Stay” from their first full-length album “BLAQ Style” released four days ago.
