Corinne Bailey Rae to hold Korea concert in March

Britain's world-famous soul diva Corinne Bailey Rae will hold a concert in Korea in March, announced the event’s organizer 9 Entertainment today.

According to a press release by 9 Entertainment on Thursday, Rae will perform at the AX Korea Concert Hall in Seoul on March 10.

This will be the singer's second time visiting Korea -- her first visit was last year's Jisan Rock Valley Festival -- but her first time holding her own concert in the country.

She is famous for several songs such as “Like A Star,” “Put Your Records On,” and “I’d Like To” which have been featured in American and Korean movies and dramas.

Rae's musical career took off high from the very beginning, her debut album “Corinne Bailey Rae” landing at No. 1 in England and fourth on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The same album then remained on the top slots of Billboard's album chart for 71 weeks straight and won double platinum.

She has been nominated for the Grammy Awards and BRIT Awards several times and has won two MOBO Awards, for Best UK Female and Best UK Newcomer artist, and claimed prizes for best new act at the MOJO Awards and Q Awards.

Ticket reservations will be available at Interpark starting from January 18 at 5 p.m.
