Korean pop singer Kim Tae-woo has won the top award on televised music shows for second consecutive week.


The singer's recent hit single "Love Rain" took the top prize again on SBS music show "Inkigayo", which aired live Sunday afternoon.

"I would like to thank my fans more than anything," the 28-year-old singer said in his acceptance speech.


The show also featured live performances from 4minute, B2Y, G-Dragon, Lee Soo-young, MBLAQ, Run, SHINee, SS501, T-ara Choshinsung and Taeyang.

"Rain" topped the K-Chart on KBS music show "Music Bank" for three weeks in a row as well.


Kim, formerly the lead singer of popular Korean boy band G.O.D., released his first solo album "Solo Special" in 2006. "Rain" is the first single from "T-Virus", his comeback album since completing Korea's mandatory military service in May.
