Park Yong-ha to act, sing for Japanese drama

Singer and actor Park Yong-ha will appear in and sing the theme song for a new Japanese TV series, according to a daily paper in Japan.

Park will sing the main soundtrack for Fuji TV's new drama, translated into "Xmas Miracle", set to air on November 2, reported Sankei Sports newspaper on Friday.

The song is also the title track for his new single album set for release on November 18, the same day the soundtrack album for the drama will go on sale, the paper said.

Sankei also reported that Park will make appearances in the love fantasy drama on November 17 and 18 as the singer of the song.

The 32-year-old star last made a cameo appearance on Fuji TV's 2004 drama "Tokyo Wankei".

Park has been popular in Japan since appearing alongside top Hallyu stars Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo in 2002 hit TV series "Winter Sonata".
