ZE:A’s Dong Jun to Portray Hot Idol Singer in New Drama

ZE:A’s Dong Jun has been cast as one of the male leads in a new drama expected to air in the first half of 2013.

An official from his agency Star Empire Entertainment told the magazine over the phone Thursday that Dong Jun has signed on to star in “I Love You, Mister” [tentative title].

The “Phoenix” singer will portray a singer named Sirius, who is considered one of the hottest idol singers in the 21st century.

The TV series will center around Jang Baek-ho who used to be one of the most popular stars in Korea in 1996. However due to a mysterious accident, Jang becomes a vegetable human but later wakes up and tries to adapt to the changed society.

Additionally, Hallyu star Yoon Sang-hyun is on board but a PR rep from his agency said the actor has yet to confirm his role.

Dong Jun is currently promoting his debut movie “A Company Man" alongside actor So Ji-sub.
