Choi Kang-hee, Bong Tae-gyu to star in new comedy movie
Korean actress Choi Kang-hee and actor Bong Tae-gyu are resuming to their acting activities in the big screen.
The two star's agency KEYEAST announced in a press release Monday that the twosome have confirmed to play the female and male leads in “Mi-na’s stationery store (translated title)," which will hit the theaters in the first half of next year.
The comedy movie about a 32-year-old woman running an old stationary store after her father is scheduled to crank in this September, the officials said.
In the motion pic, Choi will play Mi-na, the owner of the store, and Bong will portray a naive teacher named Gang-ho, who has a special memory about a stationery store.
Choi has shown a wide range of acting skills through her hits such as “My Scary Girl” (2006), “Goodbye Mom”(2009) and “Petty Romance” (2010). She has concurrently pursued her radio DJing career on KBS’ radio program “Choi Kang-hee's Night Flight" from November in 2011.
