Trot singer Yang Ji-won to make official debut in Japan
Teenage trot singer Yang Ji-won will officially make his singing debut in Japan this week, according to his agency Inwoo Business Production.
Inwoo said in a press release on Wednesday that Yang, who has been preparing for four years for this opportunity, will unveil his Japanese debut single "?まぐれ少女" (meaning “Fickle Child”) today.
The firm explained that Yang received the song from Japanese girl group AKB48's member Iwasa Misaki and his album was produced by famed director Kuzi Mariko.
The press release also stated that Yang will fulfill his activities under the management of Japanese enka agency KOVA Entertainment.

Known as a prodigy in trot music, Yang made his debut at the young age of 13 with his first album "Jiwon's First Story" in 2006. He has since released other trot albums including "Jiwon's First Journey."
