Girls' Generation signs with record label in France
K-pop princesses Girls' Generation will expand their singing career into Europe, having signed with a record label in France.
The official Twitter account of Polydor France, a sub-label of Universal Music Group, showed on Thursday that Girls' Generation has signed with their company and will release an album in France as well.
The girls had previously performed in Paris, France at the Le Zenith de Paris for the "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS" along with their SM Entertainment labelmates in mid-June.
Meanwhile, the girls will also further their music career into the United States under major record label Interscope Records with the release of their latest song "The Boys" in November.
Locally, Girls' Generation released their third full-length album and saw its title track “The Boys” top a number of real-time online music charts upon its release on Wednesday.
