Action flick "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon" has been chosen as the opening film for the upcoming London Korean Film Festival in November.
The official website of the fest revealed on Friday that "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon," starring Park Hae-il and Moon Chae-won, will open the 6th annual London Korean Film Festival on November 3 and end 15 days later with director Kim Ki-duk's "Arirang."
"Arirang," which won the top prize under the Un Certain Regard category during the 64th Cannes Film Festival in May, is a one-man show on the timeline of Kim's own life in the movie industry as he reflects on the 15 feature films that he has directed as well as the people that he has encountered.
The London Korean Film Festival focuses on the thrillers and horror pictures from North and South Korea while this year the fest will hold a retrospective on famed Korean auteur Ryoo Seung-wan.
