[PREVIEW] M&D: We submitted a proposal to Mr. Lee Soo-man to form M&D

"I wrote up a proposal after asking Jungmo 'Hey, should we try forming a team?' And when I submitted it to our CEO and Mr. Lee Soo-man, they told us, 'Okay, go ahead and try out everything that you want to.'" Project group M&D, which started from a light proposal by Kim Hee-chul, came about extremely rapidly. They got permission to form their group in a month of submitting their proposal and finished shooting the music video for "Close Ur Mouth" under ten minutes with close friends at a karaoke bar. To top it off, the song's lyrics too were written in ten minutes so it's easy to mistake them for having released an album for fun.

"We do it because it's fun. That's how I want to live my life," said Kim Hee-chul. Hence they may say they will not start on anything unless it is fun but they could not conceal their pure passion for music. "A lot of people took part in creating M&D's music so I came to form new dreams regarding music. And there are things I have come to want to do regarding music. It makes me very happy," Kim Hee-chul confessed and "I think about a lot of things such as the season or trend when making songs as a member of TRAX but I really just do whatever I want to as M&D. Should I say that I practically pour in my all to what I want to do?" said Jungmo. That is why although "Close Ur Mouth" ranks at No. 400 on music charts, Jungmo can say, "Singers are supposed to have a hard time if they release an album and they're 400th on the chart but that's not the case at all for us," and Heechul can remark with a hearty laugh, "The songs from 'Infinite Challenge' may go up a single step, from No. 2 to 1, but ours go up 100 slots at a time!" 10Asia's interview with M&D through which they revealed they want to do everything themselves, from the planning to working on the songs, to promoting their album, instead of seeing much success, will become available on Monday.
