Secret to return to K-pop scene with new album in June

Girl group Secret will release a new album early next month, notified their agency TS Entertainment on Monday.

A press release by TS explained that Secret will make a comeback to the local music scene for the first time in five months, unveiling their second single on June 1.

“The new song is expected to reflect much of Secret’s unique charms so we hope you're all looking forward to it,” an official at TS was quoted as saying in the statement.

Secret, composed of members, Jun Hyo-seong, Han Sun-hwa, Song Ji-eun and Zinger, debuted in October 2009 with their digital single, “I Want You Back” and has since produced other hit songs such as “Magic,” “Madonna” and most recently, their first single “Shy Boy” last January, which is a cheerful dance number based on swing music.

The team’s main vocalist Song, too released a first digital single of her own titled “Going Crazy” which placed on top slots of several music charts upon its release in early March this year.
