Jang Yoon-jeong to hold concert tour in China in June
Trot songstress Jang Yoon-jeong will set off on a concert tour in China starting in June, making her the first Korean trot singer to do so.
On Monday, Inwoo Business Production announced in a press release that Jang will kick off her tour at Dalian of China on June 12 at the Dalian Cultural Centre, followed by performances in Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai and Gwangju.
"We feel that Jang's voice will be widely accepted by the audience here in China," an official from the concert's production staff was quoted as saying.
Jang splashed onto the music scene in 2005 with her hit song "Oh My Goodness!" She has since released a number of albums and other songs and branched out into the K-pop genre with her song "Ole" in June 2010.

She has also made her official debut into the Japanese music market in April 2005 with the release of "Oh My Goodness!" and co-hosts SBS' variety show "1000 Song Challenge" with Lee Hwi-jae.
