Singer Kim Jeong-hoon turns into warrior for action movie
Korean singer and actor Kim Jeong-hoon is currently shooting an action film to promote the Gyongju World Culture Expo, according to his agency Mersenne Entertainment.
On Friday, Mersenne announced in a press release that Kim has taken on the role of a warrior that protects Queen Seon-duk (played by actress Yoon So-yi) in the promotional movie for the Gyongju World Culture Expo, which will air in various countries in Asia.
“I'm having a lot of fun shooting my first action movie and I especially liked the scenes where I was on wires,” Kim was quoted as saying. “I hope that the viewers enjoy it as well.”
Kim, who debuted through male duo UN in 2000, turned to acting and a solo singing career which has gained him enough popularity in Japan to list him in the top 10 of the prestigious Oricon charts several times.

He released his single album titled "PRESENT" which went on sale on April 8 after being discharged from the military in late February. He will also star in cable network tvN's Wednesday and Thursday drama "I Need Romance (translated title)" opposite actress Jo Yeo-jeong.
