Korean idol group Big Bang’s fourth mini-album has ranked second on Japan’s prestigious Oricon chart.

According to results posted on Oricon’s official website on Thursday, "『BIGBANG 4TH MINI ALBUM Japan Edition』" grabbed the No. 2 spot on the chart on April 12, after selling a total 3,454 copies on the day of its release on Wednesday.

The group then crossed over into the Japanese music market in June 2009 with their debut single "My Heaven" which reached No. 3 on the prestigious Oricon daily singles chart and they toured three cities in the country which attracted a total of 60,000 fans.
