On the scene of the "Cyworld Festival"

"The winner of the Gramophon Awards, having traveled 50 cities across the United States starting from Washington D.C., holds the Guinness record for making the most number of women faint." When singer and entertainer Yoo Sae-yoon appeared under such incredible introduction, the entire crowd gathered at the outdoor Concert Hall of the Seoul Children’s Grand Park went wild. Although such an introduction is quite common for Yoo Sae-yoon, who currently stands as one of the hottest icons in Korea, there was something more to that introduction than meets the eye.
It implies to Cyword being proud of the success of Yoo’s first single as group UV “Sorry for Not Being Cool” which started out by him posting the music video for it on his Cyworld account. Were it not for Cyword’s policy that encouraged re-posting permitted materials, UV may have not been as popular as they are now. Hence the praise "Cyworld Festival" gave for its host Yoo Sae-yoon was, in other words, like a roundabout way of praising the staff of Cyworld for creating a platform that helped UV become the big stars they are now.
“Cold? So what? I’m cold too. I wore lightly to look cool, and now I’m freezing to death.” Giggles filled the seats at Yoo’s jokes which came in a friendlier tone than usual. A slight chill was in the air on the evening of the "Cyworld Festival," the highlight 'Cy-Day' where Cyworld rented the whole amusement park for the occasion on April 2. Those filling up the seats were usually in their teens or 20s but there were also those in their 30s and 40s who arrived with a chicken and a beer, simply to enjoy the music performance on a spring night. “Is UV performing too? Gee, I didn’t know that. What an amazing festival,” Yoo said to make people laugh once again with his usual chatter.
Idol group Sistar who roamed about the stage in thin clothing without much trouble, grumbled to Yoo how about how they have missed him and SanE, unable to contain his vigor, ran to the audience and started jumping and down while spraying water all over the place. The stage, which heated up to an extraordinary level after a performance by songstress IU, reached its climax with group UV. UV that showed up singing “Incheon Grand Park” went on to give a live performance with “Itaewon Freedom,” pulling up the mood further for the joyous gathering of the spring night.

When four-member Superkidd took to the stage next, singing “Grand Park for youths, Grand Park for children, Grand Park for senior citizens and Grand Park for us,” followed by the Supreme Team, and then Leessang, the crowd went equally enthusiastic, everyone singing along to the chorus of their hit songs. While 2PM, appearing as the highlight of the festival, received the usual hot and passionate applause, it should be noted that not a single singer was less appreciated than the other that day. That night everyone who enjoyed the night regardless of age and preference, returned home with a gift of a wonderful memory to exchange and re-post.
