Singer Park Hyun-bin makes TV debut in Japan

Korean trot singer Park Hyun-bin made his television debut in Japan, according to his agency Inwoo Business Production on Thursday.
A press release by Inwoo revealed today that Park took part in a pre-recording for on major Japanese broadcaster NHK’s entertainment show “West Wind” on Wednesday, set to go on air on February 25.
"West Wind" is a well-known variety show in the country hosted by popular comedians where guest singers talk and perform on the stage.
Park appeared on the show with last year's hit songstress Uemura Kana and sang the Japanese version of his popular song “Shabang Shabang,” whose album is set for release in the country in early April.
Park, 28 is one of the top young trot singers in Korea who debuted with single “Ppari Ppa Ppa” in 2006 and became famous with numerous hit songs such as “Shabang Shabang,” “Just Believe in Oppa,” “Gonddurae Manddurae,” and “Ouch It’s Hot,”
He had prepared for his Japanese debut since late last year after signing a contract with Irving Co., one of the largest K-pop management companies based in Tokyo.

He has been invited to the 2011 Enka Festival in Japan which takes place in five cities including Osaka, Nagoya, Saitama, Fukuoka and Sendai this month.
