Big Bang’s concert to be turned into 3D film

Fans of boy band Big Bang will be able to watch the idol group's concert from last year in 3D format in movie theaters starting next month.

The boys' agency YG Entertainment announced through a press release today that Big Bang’s annual concert "2010 BIG BANG LIVE CONCERT BIG SHOW" will hit the theaters on February 2 in the form of a 90-minute film containing the first day of Big Bang’s three-day concert held from January 29 to 31 last year.

The movie will feature not only the concert but also scenes from backstage -- segments that were not included in their formerly released DVD on the show.

Big Bang, known as one of the most popular boy bands in the country for both their music and fashion, is set to make a full-fledged comeback to the local music scene on February 25 after a two-year hiatus.

The group composed of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, had recently led solo or unit activities.
