Still images of Korean actor Jang Dong-gun starrer "My Way" were revealed for the first time today.

The film's distributor SK Telecom and CJ Entertainment released the photographs on Thursday, showing Korean actor Jang Dong-gun held at gunpoint while another revealed a fiery background with a man in a tank.

"My Way," helmed by top Korean director Kang Je-gyu, tells about an Asian soldier (played by Jang) who was captured by the Japanese army and later turned over to the German Nazis during World War ll. The war epic also stars Japanese actor Odagiri Joe and Chinese actress Fan Bingbing.

Kang is often dubbed the Steven Spielberg of East Asia, having produced several of Korea's top films including 1999's hit film "Swiri" and 2004's epic "Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War" which is the third most-watched Korean film in box office history.

Jang too has won several critical acclaims for his roles in films since his debut in 1993. He recently made his Hollywood debut through movie "The Warrior's Way" alongside Kate Bosworth and Geoffrey Rush.

"My Way" started filming in October last year in various locations including Korea, Germany and China and is scheduled to open in local theaters in December.
