ZE:A to hold sidecar concert
Korean boy band ZE:A will hold a concert in a sidecar this coming Saturday, announced their agency Star Empire Entertainment today.
According to a press release by Star Empire, the nine-member group will perform at a sidecar set up in front of mega shopping mall Migliore in Shinchon of Seoul on January 15 at 2 p.m. to celebrate the first anniversary of their debut this month.
ZE:A had promoted themselves throughout the country on a sidecar when they first debuted and promised they will show up in front of fans in the same way again a year later.
“It feels overwhelming to realize that it has already been a year since we debuted,” the team’s leader Moon Jun-young was quoted as saying in the statement. “So much happened during the past year and we thank our staff and fans who continued to believe in us and showed us much love.”
Various events will be held at the upcoming show including ZE:A staging their hit songs, doing high-fives with attending fans and a donation ceremony, all to be covered real-time online.
ZE:A (Children of Empire), composed of other members Kevin, Hwang Kwanghee, Siwan, Kim Taehun, Jung Heechul, Ha Minwoo, Park Hyungshik and Kim Dongjun,, made their debut in January 2010 with their mini-album "Nativity" featuring their title track "Mazeltov."
They released a follow-up record "Leap For Detonation" and "Level Up" in the following months of April and July, respectively.
