Famed U.S. pop singer Brian McKnight will be visiting Korea to give a concert in April, according to concert promoter Vincero.


The R&B musician, who last performed in Korea in 2002, will be holding a concert at Seoul's Jamshil Indoor Gymnasium on April 1.

The concert will feature songs from his latest album "Evolution of a Man", released in 2009, as well as his previous hits including "Back at One", "One Last Cry" and "Anytime".


McKnight, 40, debuted in 1992 with the self-titled album "Brian McKnight" and has since released eight more albums. Seven of his albums went platinum and sold over 20 million copies worldwide.

The singer, famous for his impeccable vocals and songwriting skills, has collaborated with some of the most successful pop artists including Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake.


He has been nominated for numerous music awards over the years while a recipient of the Soul Train Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, the American Music Awards and Billboard Songwriter of the Year.
