Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck will be visiting Korea for the first time to give a concert on March 20, according to concert promoter Private Curve on Tuesday.

Beck, considered one of the greatest guitarists in history, will be performing at Seoul's Olympic Park Olympic Hall.

The English musician was one of the three renowned guitarists -- alongside Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page -- who performed with The Yardbirds, an English rock band in the 1960s. After leaving the Yardbirds in 1967, he formed The Jeff Beck Group with singer Rod Stewart in the lead vocals.

He has released more than a dozen albums as a group, solo artist or in collaboration with other musicians. His first solo album "Blow by Blow", released in 1975, was produced by Beatles producer George Martin and reached No. 2 on Billboard's album chart.

Beck, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2009, has been nominated for the 2010 Grammy Awards in the best rock instrumental performance category -- which he has won four times.

Tickets for the concert will be available starting January 20, 12 p.m.
