Korean singer and producer Park Jin-young, also founder and CEO of JYP Entertainment (JYPE), visited former 2PM member Park Jae-beom in Seattle, according to his agency on Wednesday.
Park Jin-young dropped by Seattle to meet with the former singer and his parents on his way to JYPE's headquarters in New York, an official at JYP Entertainment confirmed.
The official said they had a conversation over dinner but does not know what they talked about.
The meeting, taking place at a time when fans of 2PM are demanding for Jae-beom's comeback to the group, may have killed recent rumors of a rift between Park and Jae-beom.

Last week, the former leader asked fans to understand his position, writing on the official 2PM fan club website that he "left for a reason and Jin-young and 2PM are like family".

The 22-year-old singer had come under heat over controversial comments he made about Korea on his MySpace account before his debut. He quit the group four days after the comments became public and returned to his hometown Seattle on September 8.
Despite much speculation and protests by the fans, 2PM recently resumed their activities without its former leader as a 6-member group.
