Actors Ji and Han attend Cartier exhibition

Top actor Ji Jin-hee and actress Han Ye-seul visited China last week to attend an exhibition by world-renowned jewellery brand Cartier.

The two Hallyu stars attended the opening of the "Cartier Treasures - King of Jewellers, Jewellers to Kings" exhibition held in the Forbidden City in Beijing on Friday as representatives of Korea, Cartier said in a press release.

The actors also met with Hong Kong top star Tony Leung and popular Taiwanese actress Shu Qi at the exhibition, Cartier added.

Cartier's creations from the 1860s to the mid-20th century, including jewellery and watches, will be on display at the exhibition be held from September 5 to November 22.

Actor Ji has been a top Hallyu star since gaining fame throughout Asia with a role opposite actress Lee Young-ae in hit TV series "Jewel in the Palace".

Han, who debuted as a supermodel, is one of the most popular actresses in Korea and was recently named a goodwill ambassador for this year's Korean Day -- a day held to bolster unity among overseas Koreans.
