Singer Jun Jin breaks up with actress girlfriend

Singer Jun Jin of pop group Shinhwa has broken up with his girlfriend of six months, former reality show co-star Lee Shi-young.

"They'd been going out since March but recently broke up," Jun Jin's agency Open World officially announced in a press release on Thursday.

"They agreed to split up in consideration for each other. They are both busy with their own careers so they decided to do what is best for their present and future," Open World explained.

The two had admitted three months ago that they were dating after appearing as a make-believe couple on reality show "We are Married.

After debuting in 1998 as a member of boy band Shinhwa, Jun Jin has released solo albums and currently appears in various TV shows.

Lee became well-known after appearing in hit drama "Boys Over Flowers" earlier this year and is currently in shooting for a new TV series.
