After attracting a record audience here this summer, Korean blockbuster “The Thieves” is now making its way to Europe by being introduced to two Korean film festivals next month.
The show’s local distributor Showbox said in a press release Sunday that the second highest grossing homegrown film will open the seventh London Korean Film Festival on November 1.
The movie's director Choi Dong-hoon and one of the male leads Kim Yun-seok will introduce their action flick at the LKFF themselves by taking part in the ceremony.
Additionally, director Choi will fly over to Paris to meet French moviegoers in the flesh at the closing ceremony of the seventh edition of the Paris Korean film fest alongside another male lead Lee Jung-jae.
