Wonder Girls to join Will Smith at red carpet event for movie premiere in Seoul

Will Smith in "Men in Black 3" [All That Cinema]

K-pop idols Sunye and Lim of the Wonder Girls are set to attend the red carpet event for the world premiere of Hollywood film "Men in Black 3 (MIB3)," starring Will Smith, in Seoul.

The film's local promoter All That Cinema announced on Friday that the two K-pop starlets will step the red carpet alongside Smith at the event for "MIB3," which is set to take place in Seoul on May 7.

The Wonder Girls and Smith first met at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards, which was held in Los Angeles, California in March. At the ceremony hosted by Smith, the girls were nominated under the category of 'favorite Asian act.'

Additionally, the firm stated that actor Josh Brolin and the pic's director Barry Sonnenfeld will also be in attendance for the festival.

"Men in Black 3," the third installment of "Men in Black,” focuses on Agent J (Smith) traveling back in time to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K (Brolin).

The film, also starring top Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones, is scheduled to open worldwide on May 24.
