Stevie Wonder wants to work with Naul

Music legend Stevie Wonder wants to work with top Korean R&B singer Naul.

An official with Naul's agency Santa Music told 10Asia over the phone on Friday that Wonder has asked the lead singer of group Brown Eyed Soul to sing some of his songs.

Hence both parties are currently in talks on when and how the collaboration will come about with contracts and decisions yet to come, the official emphasized, downplaying reports from earlier in the day that had said otherwise.

Online daily outlets including Star News had stated that Naul will fly to the United States in mid-February and record a total of three songs with Wonder, two of which are songs that Wonder has not published.

Nonetheless, this makes this the first time that Wonder has presented an Asian artist with his songs.

Naul, 33, has been considered one of Korea’s strongest vocalists since his debut in 2003 as a member of Brown Eyed Soul.

During his career, he has sung covers of a number of Wonder's songs including "For Your Love" and "Lately" which have been received well by fans in Korea.
