Banner to the 8th annual Hong Kong Asian Film Festival [Official HKAFF website]

A number of Korean movies have been invited to the upcoming Hong Kong Asian Film Festival (HKAFF), according to its official website.


On Friday, HKAFF's website revealed that actor Hyun Bin and Chinese actress Tang Wei starrer "Late Autumn" will be screened under the Cineaste Delights category at the ongoing 8th annual Hong Kong Asian Film Festival held in Hong Kong from October 19 to November 18.

Korean animation "The King of Pigs" will be shown under the New Talent Award segment and auteur Moon Si-hyun's first directorial film "Sins of Fathers" was invited as part of the Asian Wide Angle category.


Director Oh Young-doo's erotic comedy "Invasion of Alien Bikini" will be featured under the Asian Superheros segment while thrillers "The Yellow Sea," "Bloody Fight in Iron-Rock Valley" will be shown as part of the Midnite Craze.

This year's festivities opened with Hong Kong film "Life Without Principle," starring Richie Jen and Sean Lau Ching-wan, and will close next month with Wong Ching-po's pic "Let's Go!"
