Photos of Super Junior Kim Heechul in military revealed

Photographs of singer Kim Heechul of boy band Super Junior in the military have been revealed.

A number of photos posted on the Korean Army's website on Tuesday showed the 28-year-old idol star in his military clothes and helmet while receiving training at the Nonsan military camp in South Chungcheong Province.

Kim is in his first week of training after entering the military on September 1 to fulfill the two-year duty required of all Korean men.

After four weeks of training, Kim will then serve as a public service worker for the 23 months that follow.

Kim first started out in the entertainment business with a role in KBS' teenage drama "Sharp 2" in 2005 and then began his singing career as one of the members to his popular boy band.

He is also part of one of the group's three units named Super Junior-T and earlier this year, formed a project duo named M&D (abbreviation of Midnight & Dawn) with TRAX member Jungmo.
