"My Love My Family" captures audience for 9th straight week

KBS weekend TV series "My Love My Family" continued to capture the audience in Korea, staying the most-watched show in the country for the ninth consecutive week.

Data by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Monday revealed that "My Love My Family" scored the top spot on its weekly TV chart with viewership ratings of 25.9 percent during the third week of July.

SBS' weekend series "New Gisaeng Story," starring Lim Soo-hyang, Sung Hoon and Han Hye-rin, came in second place with viewership ratings of 23.6 percent followed behind by KBS' daily show "Bittersweet My Life," featuring Jung Eun-chae and TRAX's Jay, which posted ratings of 20 percent.

Meanwhile, AGB Nielsen Media Research reported that SBS' drama "New Gisaeng Story" was the No. 1 show in the country with viewership ratings of 27.4 percent, taking its first win on the weekly TV charts.

KBS' "My Love My Family" placed in second on AGB's chart with viewership ratings of 27 percent and rounding out the top three was MBC's weekend series "Twinkle Twinkle" with ratings of 21.5 percent.
