Kim Hyun-joong to kick off Asia tour next month

Singer-actor Kim Hyun-joong will kick off his Asia tour next month, according to his agency KEYEAST.

An official from KEYEAST told 10Asia over the phone that Kim will be visiting several countries in Asia to promote his album “Break Down” and take part in interviews with the local media outlets starting with Japan in early August.

"He will also be touring a total of eight countries including Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan and Singapore till the end of the month," the official added.

Making his debut as the lead of the popular boy band SS501, Kim has returned to the local music scene as a solo artist with his first album "Break Down" and has topped online and offline music charts with the title track of the same name.

He will begin promoting his follow up track "Kiss Kiss" with his performance on cable music channel Mnet's weekly program "M! CountDown" this Thursday.
