Jang Nara's "Babyfaced Beauty" may be extended
Major broadcaster KBS is looking into extending Jang Nara starrer "Babyfaced Beauty," according to the show's producer A Story on Wednesday.
A Story told 10Asia that KBS is considering extending the 18-part series due to its increasing popularity although they "have not held any detailed discussions on it."
Numbers by research firm AGB Nielsen Media Research had shown that the romantic comedy kicked off with a viewership rating of 6.1 percent on May 2 but gradually rose to post a score of 15.5 percent on its 12th episode yesterday to make it the No. 1 drama in the Monday and Tuesday primetime slot.
“Babyfaced Beauty,” about the life and success of a thirty-something single woman, tells of a woman played by Jang, who fakes her age to get a job in a fashion company.
The show also stars Choi Daniel, Ryu Jin and Kim Min-seo and is set to end its run at the end of this month.
