Yolanda Be Cool to perform in Korea Feb 26
Australian band Yolanda Be Cool, famous for “We No Speak Americano,” will perform in Korea next month, announced the concert’s organizer VU Entertainment on Friday.
According to a press release by VU, Yolanda Be Cool, a duo composed of Sylvester Martinez and Johnson Peterson, will come to Korea to perform at Club Answer in Seoul on February 26.
The group, which debuted in 2009, saw a hit with their singles “We No Speak Americano” that combines jazz with club music, taking first place on some 20 charts and on top slots on other dozen charts in 16 European nations.
The song has been well received in Korea as well, becoming one of the most frequent pieces to be played at clubs and on televised variety shows.
Little is known about the duo themselves aside from their names -- they are rather known for deliberately keeping low profile and concealing their faces in posters, albums and other official photos.
