Cast of Hollywood film "Green Hornet" to visit Korea next week

Famed director Michel Gondry, American actor Seth Rogen and Chinese actor Jay Chou will visit Korea next week to promote their 3D action flick "Green Hornet."

According to the film's local promoter All That Cinema on Friday, Michel Gondry, Seth Rogen and Jay Chou will meet with local media for a press conference and attend the green carpet premiere to be held at a Lotte Cinema theater in Seoul on January 19, while the film is set to open in theaters on January 27.

"Green Hornet," originally a radio program, tells the story of Britt Reid (played by Seth Rogen) who teams up with his late father's assistant Kato (Jay Chou) to become a masked crime fighting team.

Academy Award-winning screenwriter and director Michel Gondry is well known for his visual style and use of mise en scene. He is also popular for his second film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."

Seth Rogen began his career as a stand-up comedian and landed a role on the TV series "Freaks and Geeks" in 1999. He has since starred in various Hollywood flicks including "The 40-Year-Old Vrigin," "Knocked Up" and "Superbad."

Jay Chou first began his career as a singer and songwriter and is well known in various countries in Asia. He began in 2005 with a role in the action film "Initial D."
