Product: Blond look
Both G-Dragon and Girls' Generation member Jessica have gone blond. Here are the instructions for the trendsetters out there who may be holding bleach in their hands this very moment with the belief that you only get to live life once and should try going blond too.
1) A noun. The Korean dictionary says it means 'hair which shines in the color of gold' but it generally refers to a color which is closer to freshly-picked corn.
2) The average human being has approximately 100,000 strands of hair on his or her head. But blond people are said to have about 40,000 more strands because each strand is thinner. It is the thinnest of the various hair colors and accordingly, also the softest.
3) The symbol of beauty. The symbol of sexiness. That is why women have wanted to have blond hair since the dawn of history and those who know how to create blond hair were said to have accumulated wealth easily.
A) Form of production over history
* The easiest way is to wear a blond wig. The noblewomen of Rome used to bleach their hair with soap imported from Germany but as Rome started to conquer Northern Europe, they are said to have cut hair from blond people and made them into wigs.
* According to a paper published in 1825, you can become blond if you regularly apply onto your hair a liquid composed of 15 grams of celandine root and turmeric root, 3.5 grams of saffron and lily roots, and 1.7 grams each of figwort flower, broom flower and St. John's wort -- all mixed into about one liter of boiled lye.
* It has become easy to buy bleach off the streets now with the development of the industry. But according to accounts by people who have tried using the product, your hair will not transform into a blond like Marilyn Monroe's but rather resemble more of a broom. Many also use the words 'dog hair' or 'duster' to express the color instead of broom.
B) Recommended form of production: Buy a blond wig

C) Recommended form of simulation for production
Go to the hair saloon and shout out that you only get to live life once so you want to live as a blond. Do not be swayed even if the hair stylist says your hair will become extremely damaged. Get your hair bleached about twice by the stylist. Check that your hair has become greatly damaged and regret getting it done. Then just as you are about to get up from your seat to leave, the stylist will approach you. "You have one more go left." (The stylist will try to take out the redness remaining in your hair by coating it.) You go back home. Your entire family, including your mom, will scold you. You regret it once again. And just when people start getting used to your blond hair, you will start seeing the black hair grow from the roots. So once again, you regret it.
D) To avoid malfunctions:
* You must repeat bleaching and dying multiple times to achieve the desired 'blond' color which usually pops up into your mind when you think of the word. But it cannot be done on hair which has been dyed black or permed before. The chemicals left in your hair will clash with the bleach, causing your hair to break off. In other words, you must be a 'virgin' to get your hair bleached, and even so, it still may not be successful for you. Everyone has slightly different shades of black hair so the outcome will also be different.
* It is better to receive the help of an expert but it will not stop your hair from becoming damaged. One expert said, "Do you know why they call it dye? Because it kills your hair! 'Die', get it? Die!"
* It will help a bit to use shampoo and conditioner specifically for dyed hair but not by a large amount.
* The advantage to having blond hair is that at least in Korea, you will stand out no matter what you wear. Therefore, you will look stylish wearing achromatic-colored clothes only with avant-garde silhouettes, clothes with one-color points or pale-colored clothing which will match your hair. But you will look tacky in brightly-colored clothing. Like Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde".
* The downside to having blond hair is that no matter what you do, people will always look at your hair first. If you are someone who is too lazy to change clothes everyday, you can sublimate that into your strength and get by wearing the same clothes all the time. People will not care what you wear anyway if you are blond.
