Korean idol group TVXQ has topped Japan's Oricon music chart with their new single and DVD.

According to the Oricon charts released on Wednesday, a project duet single by members Hero Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun, titled "COLOR~Melody and Harmony~" topped the singles sales chart, selling over 100,000 copies on Wednesday alone.

The single album carries five tracks; title song "Harmony", "Shelter", instrumental versions of the two songs and a live concert version of "Harmony" performed at Tokyo Dome in July.

The two singers had planned on carrying out their duo activities in Japan but it has been delayed due their legal issues with agency SM Entertainment.

On the DVD chart, the video of TVXQ's Tokyo Dome live concert took the No. 1 spot. The concert was the last of the performances of the "TVXQ 4th LIVE TOUR 2009 - The Secret code" held in July.

TVXQ, a five-member boy band, has been one of South Korea's most successful idol groups since their debut in 2003. The group has currently stopped all their official activities due to a lawsuit against SM Entertainment by three of the members, Hero, Micky and Xiah.
