"Queen of Housewives" producer Ko Dong-seon says he wants to spread the message of the drama throughout Asia.

Ko made the remark at a press conference held on Friday to celebrate the airing of MBC's hit drama "Queen of Housewives" in China.

"Personally, I am very glad that the drama will air in China" the producer said. "I think there's a lot that viewers can relate to because Korea and China share the values of family and love."

"I myself grew up watching Chinese martial arts movies. That's how much culture China and Korea have shared over the years," Ko explained. "I hope the message of "Queen of Housewives" is shared and enjoyed by many viewers in Asian countries."
