Rain quenches thirst after concert in Germany
Asian pop sensation Rain has revealed several pictures of himself enjoying a drink after his concert in Germany.
In the photographs uploaded on Rain's official Twitter account over the weekend, the singer-actor is seen sitting at a restaurant on the streets of Germany ordering a cocktail for himself with a comment underneath saying, "Just finished my concert in Germany...and I'm choosing a drink from the menu."
He followed up the post with two other pictures of himself drinking an alcoholic beverage with comments reading, "I ordered an ice cream cocktail to celebrate this moment" and "I almost died while drinking it ㅠㅜ."
Rain was recently in Germany to take part in the country's Dresden Music Festival, holding a joint concert titled "RAIN & VOGLER: Asian Pop meets European Classics" with German cellist Jan Vogler.
Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has been considered one of biggest stars in Korea and throughout Asia since the start to his solo singing career in 2002. He has also expanded his career into acting, playing several small screen roles such as "Sang Doo! Let's Go to School" and "Full House."
He then made his Hollywood debut in 2008, through the Wachowski Brothers' action pic "Speed Racer" and landed the lead role in martial arts film "Ninja Assassin" a year later.
Rain has been working on his latest action pic "Take Off: Closer to the Sun (translated title)" which is a remake of the 1964 Korean movie "Red Muffler."
The movie tells the story of life, love and comradeship of fighter pilots amid the risky situation on the Korean Peninsula and also stars Korean actors Sin Se-gyeong, Kim Sung-soo and Yu Jung-sang.
