Korean idols JYJ, composed of members Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu, will perform during the halftime show for a charity soccer game in Vietnam next month, according to group's promoter Prain Inc. on Thursday.
The event the boys will take part in will be the 1st annual Asian Dream Cup to be held at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam on June 15, while actress Han Hye-jin is its PR ambassador, Prain explained.
"JYJ will sing about two songs during the halftime show and will also take part in the youth soccer event with the other celebrities," a PR official from Prain told 10Asia over the phone. "They will coach the children as well as hold a soccer competition amongst themselves."
Other celebrities who will take part in the Asian Dream Cup include French player Patrice Evra, South Korean players Lee Young-pyo, Jung Jo-gook, Lee Chung-yong and Jong Tae-se and players from China and Japan.
The trio made their comeback to the music scene in October of last year as a trio under the name JYJ and released their record in mid-October after which they held a global showcase and their first concert as JYJ.
They recently held the final leg of their world tour in Asia and will head off to North America for shows in Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles and San Jose.
