f(x) “Danger” rules weekly Gaon chart
Girl group f(x)’s song “Danger” emerged the new winner on the weekly Gaon singles chart from April 17 to 23.
“Danger” is an electronic pop dance number from the group's latest album "PINOCCHIO" that sings about a girl who tries to analyze everything about the person she fell in love with while likening him to the puppet Pinocchio.
2NE1 member Park Bom’s love song “DON’T CRY” from her first solo-digital album, debuted at No. 2.
“DON’T CRY” which is a fast-tempo R&B song that sings of lost love, was composed by Teddy, one of the main composers for YG Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Big Bang’s “LOVE SONG” settled at No. 3. after being pushed back by the above two new entrants.
On the albums chart, f(x) came out the winner once again after placing their aforementioned album “PINOCCHIO” on top of the chart. The album which was released just a week ago, is the female group's first full-length album.
Arriving at No. 2 was female band 4minute’s first regular album “4MINUTES LEFT” which shot up nine steps from the previous chart.
Third on the list was Orange caramel’s digital album “Bangkok City” featuring a title track of the same name whose music incorporates groove, electronica and funky beats.
