Male band Big Bang's songs and albums took over the Gaon chart once again during the week of April 10 1to 6.


Coming in at No. 1 on the latest Gaon’s singles chart was “LOVE SONG,” one of the title tracks to “Big Bang Special Edition Album” which surged eight steps to reach the top.

Second place was claimed by girl group 4minute’s “Mirror Mirror,” a powerful dance number from their first regular album “4MINUTES LEFT” which climbed eight spots to reach its present position.


“STUPID LIAR,” the second title track also from Big Bang's special album, arrived third on the chart after jumping 12 steps from the previous week.

In the albums section, the same album managed to hold onto its first place slot for a second consecutive week.


The album composed of 10 tracks, some from the group’s fourth mini-album as well as the two new songs mentioned above, was released in early April.


Newly debuted female idol group Brave Girls, placed their first album “Brave Girls: The Difference” at No. 2 on the chart after bouncing up 14 steps from last time.


The record, made up of four tracks including title track “Do You Know” and “So Sexy,” is classified under the R&B and urban music category and went on sale early this month.


Another girl group, Rainbow’s EP album “So女” which came out this month as well, debuted third on the chart.

The album features several dance numbers including the title track “TO ME” composed by Daishi Dance, the famous music producer and DJ from Japan who worked with Big Bang in the past.
