Korean idols Big Bang [YG Entertainment]

Korean idols Big Bang have enjoyed a successful return to the music scene with their latest song "TONIGHT," placing it in several lists on the prestigious U.S. Billboard chart.


The EP version of "TONIGHT," the title track to the boys' fourth mini-album released in Korea last week, has placed in at No. 3 on the World album charts, which is ranked by sales data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan, No. 7 on the Heatseekers album chart for new or developing artists that have never appeared on the top 100 of the Billboard chart, and at No. 29 on the Independent album chart for top-selling albums across all genres, according to Billboard as of March 12.

Just a week into their comeback, Big Bang has entered the top 10 of Apple's iTunes records chart with their fourth mini-album and will make their stage comeback on SBS' Sunday music program "Inkigayo."


Composed of members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, Big Bang was discovered and trained by major talenthouse YG Entertainment. They made their debut in 2006 and has since released a number of albums and hit songs.

The boys made a successful comeback to the local music scene with all six tracks from their album listing within the top ten spots on numerous online charts. They also performed at the Gymnastics Stadium of the Olympic Park for their annual “2011 BIG SHOW” last month.
