Actor Yoon Si-yoon to shoot new film starting tomorrow
Actor Yoon Si-yoon will begin shooting his new film tomorrow, according to the film's producer Cinema Zenith on Friday.
According to a Zenith official, Yoon will play a genius golfer Baek in the upcoming film tentatively titled “Mr. Baek” about a pro-golfer who falls into a deep slump after a freak car accident but after teaching golf on a small island, regains hope and makes his comeback by competing in an official match.
Other casts in the film include veteran actors Chun Ho-jin, Lee Kyung-young and Cha Hwa-yeon. New actress Kim Bomi will play the female character opposite Yoon.
Yoon, 24, who debuted in 2009 with MBC’s sitcom “High Kick 2,” rose to stardom last year as the male lead in the hit-drama “Bread, Love and Dreams” (KBS, 2010) which breached viewership ratings of 50 percent and won him second prize in acting in the area of special drama production at KBS' year-end awards.
