Girls' Generation to release Japanese version of "Run Devil Run" next week
Korean female idols Girls' Generation will release the Japanese version of their hit song "Run Devil Run" in Japan next week.
SM Entertainment announced in a press release on Tuesday that they will unveil the Japanese version of "Run Devil Run" on January 25, while the ringtone of the song will be available on various mobile music websites such as Recochuku, music.jp and dwango.jp starting today.
"Run Devil Run" was first released in March last year, topping a number of online music charts as well as triumphing on various televised music programs for several weeks.
Girls' Generation made their debut in Korea in 2007 with their first album "Into the New World" and has since produced a several hit songs including "Gee," "Genie" and "Oh!"
They then expanded their singing career into the Japanese music market in August last year, becoming the first Korean girl group to place at No. 1 on the prestigious Oricon chart as well as selling 100,000 copies of their Japanese singles "Gee" and "Genie" to become certified as gold discs.

Girls' Generation, also the new faces of computer brand Intel, released the full-length version of their music video for promotional song "Visual Dream" today and will take part in concert titled SMTOWN LIVE with fellow SM labelmates held at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on January 25 and 26.
