Girl group Kara’s new album “JUMPING” has reached fifth place on Japan’s weekly Oricon chart.
“JUMPING,” Kara’s second single album in Japan, took the No. 5 spot on the prestigious chart following popular bands in Japan including Arashi, Perfume, Soul Brothers and Yusuke, while also scoring higher than AKB48, one of the most popular girl groups in the country.
"JUMPING" was released in Japan on November 10 and also in Korea five days later as Kara's fourth mini-album.
Kara composed of five member Gu Hara, Han Seung-yeon, Park Gyu-lee, Kang Ji-young and Nicole debuted in 2007 and produced several runaway hit songs including “Pretty Girl,” “Mister,” “Honey,” and “Lupin.”
