Kan Mi-youn to release digital single on July 1

Korean songstress Kan Mi-youn will be releasing a digital single on July 1, according to her agency Source Music on Thursday.

Source announced in a press release that Kan will be making her comeback to the local music scene for the first time in three years with a new single album titled "Crazy."

Kan worked with famed producer Bang Si-hyuk (Hitman Bang), who has produced Baek Ji-young's "It's Like Being Shot By a Bullet" and 2AM's "Can't Let You Go," for "Crazy" an upbeat dance track.

Kan made her debut in the five-member girl group Baby V.O.X in 1997 and pursued a solo singing career starting in 2006 after the group's disbandment, releasing several singles in the country as well as working in China.

She will be performing her latest single on July 1 on Mnet's televised music program "M! Countdown."
