The Killers to visit Korea in Feb

The Killers, an American alternative rock band from Las Vegas, will hold their first concert in Korea, according to promoter DONICE on Friday.

The four-member band's concert, titled "The Killers Live in Seoul", will take place February 6 next year at the Olympic Park, DONICE explained in a statement. The show will be part of the group's Asia tour.

The Killers has a record of selling over ten million albums despite having released only two single albums only since their debut in 2002.

The band was more popular in England and Europe but now has fans all over the world. Their song "Mr. Brightside" hit No. 10 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Official UK Singles Chart. It was also selected as the background music for TV commercials in Korea.

"All These Things That I've Done," a song from their debut album, was a big hit after being adopted as Nike's Campaign song during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Their second album "Sam's Town," bowed at No. 2 on the U.S. pop chart.
